Seattle trio Afrocop performs improvised soundscapes inspired by soul, psych, breakbeat, sci-fi and jazz. Noel Brass Jr. (keys) formed the band after moving to Seattle 5 years ago from the Chicago area to express his psychedelic gospel leanings. Veteran Seattle player Andy Sells has set his role in the group as the force on drums and percussion (FCS North, Cascadia ’10, Fascination Nation) Carlos Tulloss holds down bass & creates his own level of otherworldly groove (SCREENS, Stereo Sons, Undersea Passage).
