Max Cannella is a nationally recognized jazz pianist based in Snoqualmie, Washington. He has played alongside modern jazz greats including Walter Blanding and Greg Gisbert. He won outstanding soloist from Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Essentially Ellington competition in 2016, and has been playing locally for over 4 years, including live performances at The Paramount and on 88.5 KNKX. Influenced by the great pianists, Chick Corea, McCoy Tyner, Gene Harris and Robert Glasper, he has developed a unique sound encompassing a variety styles, ranging from traditional to latin jazz, R&B, and neo-soul. His performances are bubbling with excitement, vibrant chordal colors, and angular melodic lines.
